Take a Break

Over the past few weeks, we've gone through the importance of mental health. From making the change, starting with yourself, to stress and time management contributing to mental health.Related image

Last week we left off on the importance to have some downtime, take a break. For me, a good way for me to de-stress and stay sane through the pressure of uni is watching a good movie. Whether it be action filled, or just a fluffy feel-good movie.

Here are a few lighthearted movies that will help you forget about all your worries and stresses, at least for 2 hours.

1. We're the Millers

This movie is funny, ridiculous and has many outrageous situations that will leave you waiting to see how it will play out.

2. 50/50

This is a comedy is not what'd you expect, however it's heartwarming and has a positive message.

3. Studio C

Not a movie, rather, a Youtube channel. They post comedic sketches, the writing is witty, clean comedy and each sketch is around 3-5minutes long. Perfect when you need to study and can't throw away 2 hours on a movie LOL

Lastly, this week we have Mental Health Week running from October 10th-12th at Macquarie University, presented to you by MacqPsych - Macquarie University Psychology Society.
